Cipher case: IHC issues notice to FIA on Imran Khan's bail plea

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court Monday gave a notification to the Government Examination Office (FIA) on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Director Imran Khan's request looking for post-capture bail in the code case.


The court's notification came during the knowing about Khan's bail request testing the extraordinary court's choice in the said case the week before. The request was recorded by the PTI executive on Saturday and was fixed for hearing today.


The exceptional court — laid out under the Authority Mysteries Act — had dismissed the post-capture bail requests of Khan and his party's Bad habit Executive Shah Mahmood Qureshi on account of the missing code.


In response to the plea that was submitted by lawyer Salman Safdar on behalf of the PTI chief, IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq issued notices.


The PTI boss' lawful group more than once encouraged for an early knowing about the case, following which the IHC boss equity underlined that there is a legitimate system set up, and the case will be chosen as needs be.


The FIA has been coordinated to present its reaction to the PTI boss' request.


Khan and Qureshi are on legal remand in the code case till September 26.
